A New Day!

I had an interview yesterday and I fell very confident in the fact that it went well! Keep your fingers crossed!

Regarding Bush's State of the Union Address that was on air last night, I didn't watch the entire broadcast. I did, however, hear what he plans to do with taxes in this country. He plans to lower taxes. But what really surprised me was the fact that he does know what is going wrong with the economy (the raised price of food and gas, job shortages, etc). Did he just find out this information? We've been having these problems for a long time now and why did he wait until the end of his presidency to correct these problems? Well, maybe he explained why later on in his speech and I just didn't hear it. What was really weird, however, is that, when he spoke of taxes, only the rights side of the room stood, clapped, and cheered. Hang on while I find out which political party sits on the right of the House of Representatives...OH! They are the Democrats! Okay...that makes since! I was confused at first, thinking that only the Republicans agreed with Bush but now I know they weren't because they remained seated on the left side while Bush spoke of his plans for lowered taxes.

P.S: I hope you like my MP3 player! Isn't it the best:)

It is soooo cold outside!

Today is an average day of searching for a job. I've decided to take web design classes so that I can have experience in a field that is rapidly growing so as to make it easier to find a job. But while on the web I found this awesome vid of two Nichole Scerzinger songs sung one after the other. The first is 'Physical' which was played in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer during the club scene at some one's birthday party. The second is a song I don't know the name of but love anyways:)

My final High School Musical: Around the World clip!

This is the last clip of music videos I consider to be the best shown last weekend on the Disney channel. This music video is of Nami Tamaki (looking super adorable) singing the Japanese version of 'You Are The Music In Me!'

P.S: the snow that fell last week is just now starting to milt^o^ g2g!

Snow IN GEORGIA!!!

For those of you who live outside of the United States, Georgia is located in the southern part of this nation and usually has a temperate climate. Basically, snow only comes once every thousand years-but, today, it is snowing for the second time this week!! It is awesome! My dog is still afraid of going outside however; with him being terrified of that strange white substance stuck to the ground:P (He's so weird!)

I have another HSM2 video from another country (am I addicted to these thing our what!) This video is from a french singer named Willy Denzy singing 'Bet On It.' Enjoy!

High School Musical 2 International versions (2nd post of the day!)

This video is 'Aaja Nachle,' the Indian version of 'All for One' from High School Musical 2 (This video is sooooooo cool!)

Nami Tamaki, a Japanese singer, also redid a High School Musical song called 'You Are the Music in Me.' Unfortunately, I have no clip (so far...)

TT4N (again)

Thursdays

Has anyone else realised that Thursday nights are the funniest nights on television? I always mean to watch just Ugly Betty but I end up watching Smallville, The Office, and Ugly Betty kind of at the same time! And then Project Runway and a new show, Make Me A Supermodel comes on afterwards. Whenever watching MMAS comes on, I always have to vote for Katy because she always, unfortunately ends up in the bottom three. I like her and will vote for her until she gets from the bottom of the model heap. She's really good, I hope America votes for her so that she survives next Thursday...

P.S: Here's the french-Canadian version of High School Musical 2's 'Gotta Go My Own Way.' I love this song in french ten times more than I love it in English!!

Reality Television

Have you ever read the book Fahrenheit 451? Remember how the governemt took away people's ability to think for themselves so the only things anyone talked about what was what they watched in their parlor room in the wall. The main character's wife was, basically, sitting in front of the television all day watching what was going on with 'the family;' a family that seemed to act in realtime as if on a reality t.v. program. i hope that this world doesn't become so oppsessed with such pointless shows such as Flava of Love and Rock of Love (don't even get me started on I Love New York...) that they forget about the real world. I hope people stop worring about what rediculous thing Flava broke up with some girl for and start talking about things that matter like the future of America, love,or anything besides New York mooning her audience and then call herself a lady. Anywayz, g2g!!

New web site spotting!

Facebook is a great website and I found the BEST application ever! Meet PersonalDNA! And you don't even have to be on facebook to get your DNA report! Apparently, I'm an architect!

My personalDNA Report

On another note, I really need to see The Golden Compass! It's been FARRRR too long and I read the book so I know it's a good movie-Plus the commercial wasn't half bad either! lol!

My 21st birthday party is coming up and I have no idea what I'm going to do...O well...TT4N!!

P.S: What's with the word podunk? Is that even a word? Amanda from A Shot at Love With Tila Tacilla (I totally regret watching that show...) said like 50 times during her confessionals! I thought nothing of it about 5 years ago when the show aired but then this guy from TMZ on TV(one of the reporters, I guess, if you can call the people that work for TMZ reporters...said podunk too. the way they both used it made it sound as if the word meant gross, so, I guess it's not THAT bad. Maybe I'll use it...

Thursday, January 3, 2008

I've been going through a lot lately but nothing many are not already experiencing (I have no money!) I say that freely because it's just a situation I am in right now, a situation I will get out of eventually, so I will not get depressed and remain optimistic. I have realised that my best quality is my writing-now all I need to do is find a way to make the world a better place through my literature...hum...I'll keep thinking about that. But in the meantime, I have had two jobs and am still working on one. One of the jobs was as a sales associate in a clothing store in the mall. I love clothes and fashion (nothing feels better than a cashmere v-neck sweater and a tailored pant on a crisp autumn day) but just the idea of asking people to buy the most that they possibly could while at that store was too much for me to handle! I think it rude to force people into buy things. Whenever I went shopping, I knew how much money I had to spend and I've paid attention to fashion and knew exactly what I was going to try on and probably purchase so, frankly, I neither needed nor wanted someone to help me look for clothes! I felt something of a nuisance. Besides, I think I'm the type of person who needs to be told where I need to be and left alone for the rest of the year-I don't need much assistance from managers! At this job, I had no definite location and basically walking around the store for five hours(no lunch)! Oh, and by the way, selling is BorING!

The other job was as a driver helper at a packaging company. Very straight forward-get on the truck, grab a package, and drop it off at the doorstep-a job I know I can do and enjoy (it keeps me in shape!)

As far as music goes, I am addicted to 'Tattoo' by Jordan Sparks! The song is in constent replay in my car. And it takes my mind off the fact that my vehicle is a peice of junk! Ashley Tisdale in 'Not Like That' is awesome as well. I'm also reading now to inhance my grasp of the english language so I'm reading Roots by Alex Halley-it's a very good book! Gone with the wind is next! TT4N! P.S: Cars are gross!
